[Open Thread] Game Fifty: San Jose Sharks at Edmonton Oilers

Let's be honest: Edmonton isn't very good. In fact, they're pretty bad. About the only positive for the Oilers is it looks like they'll have a nice new and very rich local owner soon. There's money in them there Rexalls, apparently.

Given Edmonton's porous defense and San Jose's less than stellar offense, this will probably work out to be an average game in terms of goals scored. Or something like that. At any rate, this is one of those games the Sharks should win. Which guarantees nothing, but hey.

Good game

Seemed like a well played game by the Sharks. I only saw the first two periods, how was the third? Did we sit back with a two goal lead? Only giving up 4 shots in the third has to be good. It's unbelievable that we only gave up 13 shots.
