[Open Thread] Game Three: San Jose Sharks at Los Angeles Kings (Sunday October 12, 2008)

The away part of a back to back, and the Sharks first road game of the year.

I'm sick as a dog right now, so please forgive the lack of any extensive comments outside of noting the Sharks held the Kings to thirteen shots last night in a 3-1 victory.  Expect the home team to come out firing tonight.  It'll be interesting to hear how the locals react when Rob Blake hit the ice tonight in teal instead of purple.

Go Sharks... and I'm going back to bed.

Looked messy

But a back to back win against a team during their home opener is hard to do. LA wanted that win bad today, and the two called off goals were proof that they were willing to do ANYTHING to get it.

The fact that the Sharks were able to pull this off with their second stringers shows us a lot about the makeup of this team.

Sometimes life will strike you out on a curve ball and the only choice you have is to flip off the umpire and walk to first base anyway.

Good.

I thought it was implied.
