Sorry to be silent so long. For whatever reason the guest wireless in the Tank is now password protected, and AT&T is being their usual selves.

Anyway, game hasn’t been much so far. A few good shifts and hits, but overall both teams have been tentative.

End 1st

0-0. Ducks lead in shots 10-8. Feels like the last pre-season game between two teams with set rosters rather than opening night. Hopefully business will be picking up before long.

Monster shift by the Pavelski line leads to PP.

SJ had been overwhelming Anaheim this far this period. Shots 9-0 Sharks which accurately reflects how dominant they’ve been.

Oh, and now I can connect just fine

Swell. I’m going to have to figure out something for inside the Tank so I can do live commenting. Ah well.

Awesome second period! Full post-game post tomorrow morning.

Alseep

The Sharks started to fall into old habits and go to sleep near the end, but their Captain helped keep them in it to the end.

Overall a good game, and beating the Ducks is always a great way to start the season.

Sometimes life will strike you out on a curve ball and the only choice you have is to flip off the umpire and walk to first base anyway.
