SPG Pick Prize Information

Spg_new_logo_medium_medium

The good folks over at Carroll's Cove were kind enough to offer some select Sharks merchandise for the winner of our SPG prediction contest. If you haven't already signed up, it is far from too late- here are the standings as of today:

User Points
Marcello 3
serrapadre716 1
idunno723 1
Netsky 1
Section223 0
DaveValentine 0
Mr. Plank 0

Clearly I need to get my game together. The following is the information on how to sign up:

1) Go to http://www.pickspg.com

2) Sign up under your Fear The Fin username. Be sure to select the San Jose Sharks as your team.

3) Make picks before every Sharks game.

Now what exactly will the winner receive? That's where you come in. The poll closes Thursday night at 11:59 PM.

Doesn't Democracy rule?

[Update 6:30 PM]: Completely forgot to throw this in- head over to Pensburgh and give Frank D a shout out for helping me get in touch with Carroll's Cove.

There’s actually a service on the site where you can get an email reminding you each day there is a game. Should be found at the top of the homepage.

I’ll throw it on every gameday thread as well.

I went to school with a guy who lived down the street from him when he lived with Scotty. Good story, I know.

It’s nice to see this place getting so lively. Figured I should join in the fun. Don’t know how much I’ll actually be posting, but I’ll be around lurking somewhere.

A lurker shark is a terrifyingly frightening idea to me.

Could be worse

Air and salsa sharks are far more dangerous. We’re just lazy and read lots of sportsblogs.

I should have 2 :( they gave Boyle’s 2nd period goal against Chicago to Vlasic (as well as the 2nd period shot and 3rd period goal)
