Dropping the Gloves: Donald Brashear vs. Jody Shelley

Before the game the Sharks revealed the new Black Armor Jersey. They are great, they cause a lot of goal scoring and little goals against. Now something this great must have a flaw. That flaw is sadly fighting. (this is only if you believe jerseys make you play better)

3:24 into the game Donald Brashear fights Jody Shelley.

Great great great fight. Both were landing an unbelievable amount of punches, punches that look like they hurt. Unfortunately Brashear got more punches in than Shelley and had more control of the fight. Sadly Jody Shelley loses his first fight this year.

I think you poll is biased ;).

I thought it was the best fight of the season so far, even with Jody losing. It was close, but Brashear managed to get better position throughout. I was hoping that there would be a round two… oh well.

Rarely do you see guys throwing punches and taking punches that well. And I try to be the least biased as possible, so uhh i dont see what you mean

Brashear not only fights ugly....

….he is in fact ugly. and the only reason Jody makes mirrors cry is because hes so gosh darn beautiful.

I like what you’re doing with the dropping the gloves thing, but the poll was stupid. Give the community an opportunity to choos who won and lost the fight, whether it’s obvious or not. Don’t be such a homer.

I thought it was obvious that Shelley lost and since this is a Sharks blog, i didn’t want to make it look like a anti-shark thing so I attempted to add some “humor” to it.

Hmmm

There was no need for a poll here. It was obvious that Shelley lost the fight. It was a great fight, it’s not like he got destroyed, but he pretty clearly lost. I thought the humor was better than a poll with a pretty obvious answer.
