Dropping the Gloves: The Super Late, Dual Edition
Yeah yeah, Dropping the Gloves is supposed to go the day after a fight, but now that I have the time I give you:
Dropping the Gloves: The Super Late, Dual Edition
On December 11th of 2008 we have witnessed Shelley vs. Parro Round 6. Here it is if you missed (or forgot how it went).
Round Six was indeed a great fight. During the beginning of the fight Shelley controlled the battle by getting three heavy rights in. Shelley eventually lost balance, and Parros got his fair share of rights in. Parros eventually took down Shelley.
I give this battle a draw, with the edge too Shelley. Both fighters drew blood, but Shelley had longer control of the fight, with more punches in.
Fours days later Jody Shelley fought Raitis Ivanans:
This was the third time in the history of the Earth Shelley fought Ivanans. In the beginning both fighters were throwing a lot of punches, with Shelley throwing more. Ivanans looked tired and Shelley got some rights in. Ivanans threw some weak punches, and than they held on to each other.
For this battle I give the win to Shelley. He got more punches in and Ivanans looked tired at the end of the fight.

Love this stuff idunno.
On a side note, but doesn’t it always seem Shelley gets off to a blistering start but ends up getting worked at the end of the fights? Not these necessarily, but just in general.

yep
I like this “new” strategy than his old strategy from last year.
This year Shelley looks better, fighting-wise, than last year

I think that is how pretty much every fight goes.
They start off guns a blazin throwing punches like crazy, and then fatigue starts to set in and they start grabbing and more of a wrestling match occurs.

yeah...
there is just something about hockey fights that are that much better though. Personaly for me it is the fight they are on the ice, not good balance (can’t plant your feet) etc.

agreed
basebrawls just dont ever amount to much fun, even though they’re fun to see, football fights are dumb, call of duty just aint real enough for some reason.
Zindane’s headbutt, even though it was stupid, will always be crazy awesome.
