Shark Bait - 3/14/08 (SJ vs STL)
vs
vs
The Sharks square off against the blues tomorrow night. Despite their difference in records (41-21-8) vs (29-30-11), this should be pretty fun. Nabokov raked in 26 saves the first time we played them this year, in December, with Michalek scoring the game winner in the third.
However, when we played them a month and a half ago, Jonathan Cheechoo snapped his drought all over their faces, with two 3rd period goals to the tune of a 4-1 victory.
Most recently we cruised to a 2-0 victory earlier this month on the great debut of Brian Boucher, who let us know that (god forbid) if something happened to Evengi (especially with the schedule he's running), we would still have a formidable back up.
Regardless, these guys always come to play, and while this is not a game we should lose (especially with the quality of some of the teams we've beaten on our little streak here), we should not take these guys lightly. Come out with guns ablazin'.

A buttload of good info here. Current lines, notes and quotes. Definitely worth checking out.
Y! Sports - Injuries are pain, but part of the game
A column about the injuries each team faces as we close to the playoffs. A small blurb about the sharks. Pretty much everyone knows about our injuries around here, but it's worth throwing up.
Mercury News - Sharks' song: On the road again
An article about how rough their current schedule is, and how the big road trip wasn't the problem. It's coming home for a couple, and then heading right back on out there.
