Working on the midseason report (which will pop up on your web browsers tomorrow night after trivia), so this is going to be shorter than Brian Gionta.

I liked the effort last night. Let's keep it up.

Remember your SPG Picks for a chance to win a Sharks Banner courtesy of Carrol's Cove.

Prediction: Sharks win 3-1. Dustin (aka Mr. K) gets a birthday treat with a hat trick from Cheech. Look for him at the game- I've never seen him but would assume he's a dashing man.

Go Sharks.

[Update 1:05 PM]: Mike Chen from Battle of California has an excellent take on tonight's tilt.

Patrick Marleau: “Are you a God?”

Mats Sundin: “Uh…no.”

Patrick Marleau: “Then…DIE!” (Scores 896 goals with 895 assists by Joe Thornton and one assist by Dan Boyle)

I hope Mike is right. Just in case, I put Marleau scoring first in each period for SPG.

Hey gang

I just checked into my hotel in Vancouver – it’s pissing down rain. There’s snow on the ground in Stanley Park – but since tonight is the halfway point in the season, I’m more concerned with LORD Stanley and his wonderful goblet.

I’m wearing a Pavelski road jersey (white), and I have a goatee. I also have my old design Sharks flag, which I hope to be waving 10 times tonight (1 per goal).

Hey, if St. Louis can beat ’em 6-4, we should be ok, right? Um, right? Hmmm…

Game wrap will be up later. GO SHARKS.

Boucher is starting tonight.

Luke’s still out so it sounds like the lines should be the same as last night. All from WTC as usual.

"Bouche needs to play," Coach Todd McLellan said. "With five games left before the All-Star break, I want to make sure that he gets a chance to play. He got a couple periods in Calagary — no, not by design — and he’s played well all year when we’ve asked him to, especially on the road."
Might he get one more before the break?
"Potentially," McLellan said. "We’ll play it by ear as we go along."

I for one hope he gets that second start. Go Sharks.

Randy and Drew mentioned on air that he’d injured his leg, not his head, at the end of the fight but they didn’t say it was broken.

He sure did take a nasty tumble,

like they said after the fight, good thing he had his helmet on, it isn’t uncommon to fight without helmets, but that usually happens when the fighters visors, because they get fined for fighting with a visor I believe.

I'm not sure

I agree with that…
I mean, it looked even in alot of ways…
but from my take, the Sharks looked like they were afraid to shoot a vast majority of the time
and not as agressive in puck pursuit as I would have like to seen
