Kidding of course, but that's all I really have to say about the Lightning. I barely get to watch any of their games, and besides the highly publicized firing of the blog-inspiring mullet-rocking Barry Melrose earlier in the year, there really hasn't been much to talk about.
Oh yeah, make sure to keep your eye out for that "Seen Stamkos" character. Rumor has it he might be found in the press box, but that's just hearsay.

The Sharks did an excellent job of bouncing back this weekend against the Oilers and 'Nucks, and there's no reason to think why this can't continue. Tonight of course. The rest of this week is a whole 'nother ballgame.
Alas, that's me looking ahead once again. Once you hit the forty-game mark you realize it's a new month, a new year, and one step closer to the time during the season that really matters.
Groundhog day, for example.
Prediction: Sharks win 5-0. Goals by Boyle (x5). Oren Koules promptly writes a script for Saw 6, using footage from the game.

"Gametime decision," Sharks Coach Todd McLellan said. Shelley skated on the fourth line in practice, but then again, so did Alexei Semenov, Tomas Plihal and Brad Staubitz — and there isn’t room for all four in the lineup.
With Brad Lukowich sidelined by sports hernia surgery, McLellan said he would start rookie Derek Joslin as Christian Ehrhoff’s defensive partner, and that means Douglas Murray will begin the game skating with Dan Boyle. But expect things to be switched around frequently, at least early on.
Should be interesting to see how the d-pairings work out over the next few weeks, probably Joslin-Boyle Ehrhoff-Murray. Your thoughts?

But commercials are inherently illogical and based purely on how to sell a product the best! I should know, I had to make one for my media arts class. It was for an energy drink, and we completely ripped off the opening scene from Back to the Future. Only instead of the huge-ass amp, we used the Amp energy drink (haha, get it?).
Anyways, back to the point. Commercials make no sense, and it is pointless to try.

I really hope they finally get into the playoffs. 7th+ seed of course, so we don’t have to face them, but that franchise deserves their first appearance.

Just a couple of thoughts.
That may have been the most entertaining game I’ve been to all season. Tampa sure helped with things like that too many men coming off a PK. And things don’t get boring when the Sharks don’t let up once they have a lead. Let’s hope they keep that up.
