Don't know how serious, but it's certainly a setback. Crap.

Well this sucks.

Hope it’s not that serious.

It sounds like he felt pain in the same leg he had broken. Probably more of a precaution, but don’t expect to see him in San Jose any time soon.

I know this is not the same

But when I broke my finger (PE basketball… lame, I know), even after it was all better and healed I was still extremely cautious about it, expecting it to get hurt from any little thing. He probably felt pain in his leg after doing something relatively minor, and because of the injury he mentally made it out to be something big and was extremely cautious about it.

Or he actually hurt it again and the hockey gods hate us, I don’t know.

Why I don't think it's serious:

Today, on the Sharks Team Report (Yahoo! Sports), the author made no mention of Mitchell’s new injury. I think the move was more of a precaution.

Also, the Sharks sent down both Staubitz and TC… no reason to do that unless you expect Mitchell to be back with the team soon.

I hope Mitchell is back soon

but I thought they sent Staubitz and TC down so they could keep playing through the All-Star break.

Poetic justice?

Kurtis Foster (remember him?) will be able to play within a month - which might very well be before Torrey Mitchell.

ouchh

i remember a few days after the stinging, painful, knife-in-my-heart OT loss in dallas, i said the thing i was most excited for in the 08-09 season was to see torrey mitchell tear it up. i just might have jinxed us that day. feel free to light your torches and come burn my house down :P

get well SOON mitchey.

Well I haven't seen it.

The high schoolers might be your only hope.

You’re starting to make me embarrassed for being a high schooler!

And yes Teen Titans is awesome

From secondary, tertiary and sometimes quaternary sources

Again, it’s all hearsay. Nothing is official. The primary source is what’s important, and they have yet to reveal the true extent of Mitchell’s ‘setback’

Finally, some news

working the corners

No structural damage, minor setback

(Now I’m off to take a few people out at the knees for trying to tell me otherwise)
