Sharks Win 5-3

Motivator550169_medium

Unrelated to tonight, but I thought this was some of my best work

The game thread locked up on me, and I'm not sure if a game review is on the way. Use this for your late night chat needs, or at least until one of us works up enough intellectual strength to recap the 5-3 Sharks win.

It got a little tight there at the end, but most of the game (sans the third period) was all San Jose.

Go Sharks.

So I wasn't

the only person who saw that. Guess that means I’m still (kinda) sane.

And

this one is much more amusing.

Haha I’m all about adapting. Thomas The Tank Engine will be used at a later date though as he is definitely my ace in the hole.

Good to hear.

It helps keep things around here interesting.

Nice

I remember during the broadcast Jamie and Randy were joking about how since MacDonald was the backup, the Islanders will only sign him to an eight year contract.

Oh, and another completely unrelated gem from the broadcast? Kate Longworth told Cheech that he really took McLellan’s advice to shoot the puck to heart with those three assists. Uh, Kate? I don’t think you quite understand exactly what assists are…

Heh.

Missing that kind of stuff is the downside of going to games.

Its almost become funny, how completely WTF? Kate’s questions always are, and how the players ignore them completely (i.e. Joe’s continual insistence to answer every question by telling the fans that they’re the best fans in the world). She tries, but it almost seems like she states something that McLellan pushes, and then asks them how it contributed to a certain aspect of their play. It doesn’t matter if it makes sense or not.

I honestly wouldn’t put it past her to say, “Nabby, Coach has really been wanting you guys to work hard along the boards. How did that help you make that spectacular save in the third period?”

Okay, maybe not something that bad.

my thoughts exactly,

and she asks the same questions to different people and keeps getting the same answers from them.

BWHAHAHA

love that pic.
