PrintSorry about the delay, but I have tallied the results of our unofficial "gender poll". Turns out, Fear the Fin isn't a sausage-fest after all!
I put together a list of the people who comment here the most. All in all, that list came to 20 bloggers, including myself and the rest of the FTF staff. Although there are more males than females around these parts, it was way closer than I expected. Heres how it shook out...

9 Females!!!
I, for one, am proud that FTF appeals to both crowds... I expect the ratio to hold true over the next few months as we continue to bring new people aboard this Sharks bandwagon.
My estimate may be wrong, so I'd like to put the poll into this thread as well. So...

I found this website today
and it has all the Bell shirts.
Unfortunately it has nothing against Serra (plus t-shirts are 30 bucks!)

They are not "official school t-shirts"
I think that’s just some student that started selling them and he might have gotten got by the dean. I’m not 100% sure about the getting caught part because I haven’t been at Bell long enough.

We have something against mitty too, because the two schools are so close to each other, and when you’re in middle school you have to decide what school to go to (the ones not smart enough for Bell go to mitty).

what the girls at my old school used to go insane about. they kept trying to decide between notre dame or mercy. personally i like notre dame better. but apparantly they hate eachother. don’t know why.

Over at Leland, a bunch of girls follow the Sharks. In Lit, there’s three of us that always talk hockey before class starts.
And then, for a spirit day we had to wear sports jerseys, and by far the most popular jersey was for the Sharks. It was like 80% Sharks, 19% miscellaneous baseball jerseys, and one girl who wore an Avs jersey.

with me going to serra, an all guys school, you’d think there would be a lot of hockey fans. in reality, there’s about 10 that follow the sharks out of 1000, and 1 red wing fan. guys at my school care more about the shitty warriors than they do about the sharks.

My school (presentation) was going to sell tickets for one of the sharks games and less than 20 girls were actually interested out of about 800 girls. There are barely any hardcore fans!

I finished my BS a few years ago. Now I work full time and made the brutal decision of going back to school part time for my masters.

Haha, I’ve noticed some… ill-will toward SFHS on the internet, so I added that in jest. Anyways, /ducks as the verb, not the proper noun.

i know one way
if he/she/it is a member, then when you click on his/her/its profile page and look at all the stuff that has the comments, it shows what he/she/it said on what blog and how he/she/it voted on polls. but if he/she/it isn’t a member, then you can’t trace it…legally…i think.
