.....it looks as if C Torrey Mitchell might be ready to return to the lineup in about two weeks. That’s a preliminary estimate from both Mitchell and Coach Todd McLellan. More as things develop.

And for those of you looking for a good laugh, here's a little nugget of gold from the same article about Douglas Murray's thoughts on facing Dwayne Roloson (who, as we all know, has given the Sharks fits over the course of the last few seasons):

"I don’t think about those things," he said, "and I don’t think most goalies worry about me shooting either."

I remember

back in august, when Torrey broke his leg, the initial report was that he would be out for about 8 weeks. I thought that he could maybe be playing again by the time I went to the Chicago game in November. Oh, how wrong I was.

Oh, and who knows – maybe, in a twist of fate, Murray will score his first point of the season on Roloson.

I’m banking on a game winner spin-o-rama move. Sure he coughs up the puck in between the circles, but he lays Roloson out with a vicious body check and the puck trickles in.

I less-than-three Torrey Mitchell as well.

Partly because of his awesome PK abilities, partly because he’s so damn cute. I will always remember his attempt at trying to say “capitalize” in French… “Cap-ih-tah-lee-zay? Is that how you say it?”
