Dave Pollak (both a gentleman and a scholar) has announced that the Sharks will roll with the current roster instead of bringing anyone up to replace Pavelski.

Here are the lines:

Heatley-Thornton-Setoguchi
Clowe-Marleau-Ferriero
McLaren-Malhotra-Ortmeyer
Shelley-Nichol-Staubitz

Murray-Boyle
Vlasic-Blake
Huskins-Demers

This is Ferriero's big chance to shine, and if he comes through in the next few games, it might be a while before we see McGinn in a San Jose uni again.

Hmm...

Are there any Kings that deserve a good Staubitzing?

Is Gauthier in the lineup? If so, him.

I think the Kings let him go. Fuck that hit on Patrick Marleau last season.

Damn. I wanted Staubitz, Shelly, and Murray to beat his face to a pulp. That hit on Marleau did not get the kind of reaction it should have from the Sharks, despite Seto dropping his gloves and Marleau visibly getting pissed.

And really, Marleau visibly getting pissed is on the same level as Thornton fighting. Maybe even a bit higher – I remember Thornton dropping the gloves more than I do Marleau getting pissed.
