Tough week for Worcester
It sucks because as nice as it is for San Jose to shuttle their prospects as needed, it’s starting to take a real toll on their AHL counterparts, who I believe are Calder contenders when they have their full compliment. They especially miss having Vesce, Couture or both, as they have clearly become the offensive engine behind Woosta’s attack.
Oh, so that's where you edit your signature
the offensive engine doesn't really matter
when you give up 16 goals in three games.
Couture is a beast. That is all.

Eh, he didn’t get a hat trick. BUST.
Meanwhile, our savior Petrecki was -6 in three games. Ouch.

Fools and Sages
Yeah, Petrecki’s been pretty mediocre by most accounts I’ve heard (i.e., the accounts from the guys from Worcester who post on HFBoards, who are generally much less bipolar than most of the folks there, but they’re all in love with Stalock, at least that’s a good sign). I think Petrecki might need a couple years of seasoning in the AHL. Hopefully, Joslin can step up and really take over Blake’s spot till then. He’s looked better in every game he’s played in San Jose. Grolux will be in the AHL next year.Either way, our prospect pool at defense is pretty stocked.
Couture just keeps getting better and better though. He looked very impressive today, and is amazing along the boards. I once compared him to Crosby in playing style, I’m glad to see that he’s sort of living up to that.
Re: Petrecki Seasoning
Is it only me that thinks of food when people talk about prospects seasoning?
Yeah, it's just you.
I think Petrecki might get angry if you ate him. That would be bad.
I wonder what this William Wrenn is like?
Wish someone would interview him.
