Nabby, NHL.com story, and more.....

Stay connected for news and updates

So, first off, I am really impressed with Nabby's play this year so far.  His save percentage is .926% despite a drop in defensive quality.  Part of me say this has to do with this being a contract year and that he is sick and tired of being eliminated in the playoffs.  I think the Sharks owe a lot of their record to Nabby, because the team (except for Nabby) got off to a slow start.  I think a lot of his success is also due to him trying to rectify his 5-hole and rebound issues.  Both have improved in my opinion, especially his 5-hole.

Yu-Gi-Oh abridged will now illustrate this point.

Joey:  Let this be a lesson for you Yugi.  Never under any circumstances leave your beaver exposed.

Yugi:  Your right Joey, my Beaver was on full display.

Larry Wigge at NHL.com wrote a nice article on how he thinks the Sharks are different this year, plus plenty of good player qoutes.  Here's the Link:  http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=506761  I especially like how he focuses a little bit on the Scott Nichol line.

The Pacific is arguably the strongest division in the league.  With the Kings and Coyotes surprisingly in the top 8 and Dallas knocking on the door at 9th.  And Anaheim is in last place......... please join Rudy Kelly in laughing at them.  I think this is a good thing for them because hopefully a strong division will keep them on their toes all year.

And lastly, I was wondering if some people might want to get together and play a pick up of roller hockey.  I don't have anyone in my neighborhood to play with, so my goalie stuff sits a lot.  Plus you could bring beer and make it a kind of get together.  I don't have any money so I can't afford tickets to games (and my parents are stingy) so I never get to meet any Fear the Finners.  SO if anyone likes this idea we should talk about it.
