Not anymore
All-nighters suck. Ugh, I’m going to be feeling those three Monsters and three hours of sleep I got just now tonight. Hopefully I won’t completely crash until the Sharks game is over. GO SHARKS!

Unfortunately, I’ll be on a plane and driving back from LAX until right before the game starts. I guess I could try to nap on the plane, but 1 hour isn’t much time.

Predictions for tonight-
Christian Erhoff = negative 6
Torrey Mitchell – 10 seconds played, scoreboard falls on head, out for season. Subsequently, Logan Couture is recalled to center a line of Shelley and a bag of potatoes. Sharks fans wonder why Couture can’t score more.
Patrick Marleau – Will score 14 goals, have 12 assists, cure cancer, eat Steve Bernier’s heart out of his chest at center ice , nuclear bomb Detroit, then throw a fireworks display commemorating it over downtown San Jose. Somewhere in front of the Fairmont, a middle-aged fat man will mutter ’ it’s a good thing we won’t re-sign him".
Joe Thornton/Dany Heatley – In the midst of the Marleau storm, heatley will score three, and Thronton will be awarded five assists for said three goals anyways. On the bench, Thornton will drop to a knee, and propose to Heatley using Jason Demers’ chinstrap.
Kent Huskins – Will skate around listlessly, yet do a solid defensive job. He still won’t be as bad as Brad Lukowich was, and those not in the know won’t tell the difference.
Rob Blake – WIll eat a bowl of oatmeal. Suspenders will be worn.
Dan Boyle – He wants on Team Canada in the Vancouver Olympics. Thanks to a solid effort by Marleau, Boyle will finish with 8 goals and 16 assists.
Evegeni Nabokov – Will let in 6 goals, and wear his badass black mask, but no one will care either way because he’ll stop 5 breakaways and two penalty shots.
Douglas Murray – Will hit people. Very hard.
Joe Pavelski – will have an assist, and consistently be seen running into men larger than himself behind the opposinf team’s netminder.
Ryan Clowe- Won’t score a goal, and Randy Hahn will say something to the effect of ’ It’s only a matter of time before he breaks out of this slump". 12 more games will pass.
Frazer McLaren – will get into a fight, get decimated, and Drew Remenda will mention that ‘this kid really knows how to hold his own’. Meanwhile, Vancouver’s ice attendants will drop mclaren’s nose and jaw off while he buckles back up in the penalty box.
The San Jose Sharks – Will have orange on their jerseys. And though no Shark has ever been colored burnt orange, no one will seem to care about how ugly the San Jose Whites are in comparison to the ‘good ol’ days’. This is mainly because San Jose’s color scheme reminds yuppies of sushi rolls, and the debate will die down after someone offers to by sake bombs.

And we have taken to calling him Orr-hoff or Blast-off in Vancouver.

Yeah
It’s amazing that there’s only been one game since Tuesday. I would have expected there would be two games, but who can tell with the wacky scheduling.
But still, you missed the game with Marleau’s hatty. That sucks.

Spread Offense success
D looked really good – pressured Garrard throughout the game. Coulda ended up with 2 more picks as well (Lawson and Spikes come to mind).
Neutralized Jones-Drew and Sims-Walker.
However, Gore with only 33 yards on 16 rushes is of serious concern IMO.
But now, it’s Sharks time.
