I think they are about the same.....
well, on second thought, from what I remember Mclaren could hit a little bit harder, I remember some absolutely devastating hits by Mclaren, but Murray hits hard a little more consistently. But I may remember it wrong.

The Sharks work on neutral zone play
It seems like breakouts rarely fail against them. I actually think they’ve been pretty good at d-zone coverage. They get killed in transition, not so much on the cycle.

So the first period didn’t mean anything. Except I continue to despite Huskins as the biggest mistake DW made last summer.
On every goal Sharks allow, I first look for him on the replay, and yep, there he is, chocking up the puck somewhere.
I don’t remember Semenov ever having such long streaks of brain farts that Kent goes on.
i thought semmy was way better than huskins is, at least last season.

I thought up until the Chicago game, Huskins was playing well. Maybe overpriced, but he and Demers were a solid third pair. Recently his game has shot to hell though.

I think confidence is the big thing for him. Right now he’s struggling with it, just like he did in the training camp.
The question is
does lack of confidence lead to poor playing, or does poor playing lead to lack of confidence?

We can get a compensatory 2nd rounder in 2011 if we don’t sign White after he leaves the NCAA since he was a 1st round pick of the Nucks. But there isn’t any actual pick coming directly from Vancouver.

If we do it, we’re pretty much stuck with him in Worcester with no hope of him returning to the NHL. If he does somebody will get him on re-entry waivers and we’ll have to pay half his salary.
Now, you make like this possibility, but I’m not a big fan of when we did it to Kyle and I wouldn’t be a fan of it now.
