The league executive said there’s a chance the Sharks could be forced to pay the bonus back to Melnyk if he wins his grievance. San Jose made an offer for Heatley at the NHL draft in June, but only wanted to complete the deal on July 2 — after the bonus had been paid...

After reading a good deal of feedback across the net
I must say I’m really getting fed up with the comments painting Heatley as the antagonist. It’s ridiculous. It’s as if the majority imagine he made his trade demands, then stepped back to exclaim – “And here… we… go!”

Heatley probably burned the 4mil…
