I'll agree with this...
I was at the Sugar Bowl last year, and I was pretty convinced that Utah deserved to play for the National Championship after seeing them destroy Alabama. This year, TCU could wax any of them (except Texas, Hook Em!), but wont get a chance.

I like how McLellan can put out the fourth line for more then 5 minutes without worrying about it being a complete defensive (and offensive) liability.

I’m very excited what having McLaren as our enforcer full-time can do for our lines. He seems to have a little more offensive upside than Shelley (even though I love Shelley)

USC gets a hell of a lot of booster money for their football team, as well as a bunch of merchandise sales. But even if they do use some of my tuition to pay for it, so what? I decided to go to USC because I liked an atmosphere of all the students supporting their team. By going here, I expect that there will be a focus on athletics.

It was just the whole “one team was leading the game for a good amount of time, the Blues tie it up in the waning seconds, and end up winning in the shootout” aspect that reminded me of it.

Tough loss.
Sharks blew the two points by allowing the tying goal. One mediocre game, but they still got a point. The skills competition could go either way.

BTW
Sharks have played 7 games on Thursdays. During those games, they have compiled a 1-3-3 record, with all three of the extra point games coming through shootout losses. The only game they won was the home opener against Columbus.
What comes from this? I hate Thursdays. And the Sharks do too.

Who should we have put oh wise leader?
Jumbo and his less than 10% success rate?
Seto and his less than 15% success rate?
Heater and his less than 20% success rate?
Or Pav’s with his over 50% success rate (and beat the goalie clean, just hit the inside of the post)
and Clowe who is in the 40% range?
Marleau and Boyle are kind of interchangeable at around 30% each. I guarantee Boyler would have been 4th had Nabby made the save.

Crappy loss.
One of the worsts way you can lose. That one shot with 30 seconds would have been depressing but the one that did go in with 6 seconds was terrible. Makes me angry.
Regarding Mr. McLaren’s actions.
Heatley’s a skill player. Top line. Not a fighter (OBVIOUSLY). If someone’s gonna take a run at him, someone better retaliate. It doesn’t matter who started it, someone’s going after your teammate. During that particular moment winning the game wasn’t on Frazer McLaren’s mind, protecting Dany Heatley was.
I agree about McLaren.
I thought it was great how he came to the defense of a teammate. Heatley obviously wasn’t going to fight, but the other Blue (I cannot recall who it was) kept pressing the issue, and McLaren obliged.

I was pretty pissed after this loss. I mean, 6 second left! Ugh… But then I went and watched It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The League, Community, and The Office…and after plenty of laughing, I felt much better.
We’ll just take out our frusterations on Calgary on Saturday…a team I would much rather beat, all things considered.
