Nice interview,
and I guess Rob Blake wasn’t invited to Randy Hahn’s party..

Yeah, but it’s really nice to give a shoutout to Randy on a show like that.

Shirtless Joe is Shirtless
I love how he jokingly asks him about Venice beach. Little south of here, but still, hilarious. I get a kick out of his rep for doing shirt(or clothes)less interviews.

That’s still not as hot as Douglas Murray. -mymclife

That’s why I love Joe. He never uses cliches, always natural and always funny. It’s like he did not grow up in Canada or something.
That man deserves a Stanley Cup ring.

He’s certainly got more personality than most Canadian’s… of course that personality gets him loads of grief from Sharks fans (and previously Bruins fans) every year. He’s too happy go lucky for a team that doesn’t win it all.
I personally love our class clown.

He does sometimes dabble in cliches, like when he always says that Sharks fans are the best fans in the world during a three star interview. But I have noticed his tendency to go a bit off the beaten path, like when Seto was being interviewed in the Detroit game and Seto said they were playing the best team in the league, and Joe interrupted saying, “We’re the best team in the league!”
While he has always had a playful attitude towards the fans, I do attribute some of it to JR’s influence on him. IIRC, Joe was one of JR’s closest friends on the team, and I do think that some of JR’s charm wore off on Joe.
And I completely agree. Joe needs a Cup ring, preferably one with a shark on it.

The left vs. right handed shot question was a great one. It’s something I never really thought about, but it would be an adjustment.
Juan Carlos Perez, please start hitting.

Jumbo Joe is such a good guy and elite player
It’s a real shame how much flak he’s given. On HF you can’t mention his name without x-number of ‘playoff choker’ retorts. On that note, I truly hope the Sharks can finally put it all together for a long playoff run. I want to see Shirtless Joe doused in champagne as they party with Lord Stanley lol.
