JR on KFOX

For those of you fortunate enough to not be in your car going to work or awake for that matter at 7:20 this morning, you missed Jeremy Roenick on the Greg Kihn show.  So since JR is awesome and we could all probably use some light, irrelevant banter to start the day, here are the highlights of what they discussed.

• JR is in fact the third oldest guy on the team.  Greg thought he was the second and JR proudly proclaimed his young buck status.
• JR listens to Motley Crue and Ozzie to get pumped up for a game.
• JR likes 70s music, including disco, because he likes to get his ass moving.
• Led Zeppelin is JR's choice of music for sitting on the porch with a cold beverage.
• There is music on JR's iPod that he would be ashamed to let other men hear, including ABBA and Barry Manilow.
• The trick to the shootout, or penalty shot as JR kept calling it, is to pick your hole, look mean and confident, and try not to fall and embarrass yourself.
• He also thinks goalies are much more afraid of Joe Sakic taking a penalty shot than they are him.
