Logan Couture Called Up to Worcester

"Captain and regular season scoring leader Logan Couture will pack his bags and head Worcester, MA to join the AHL affiliate of the San Jose Sharks. He will play with the team to close out the regular season in hopes of acquiring a playoff spot."

Apparently, he got into a fight in his first game up

I’m still trying to find out who won the fight (right now, I’m guessing the other guy), but still, that’s pretty cool.

“Fists would fly to start the 2nd period. Logan Couture and Jacob Petruzalek would tangle at 1:59 after Couture took down Nick Dodge behind the Albany net. A few minute later, Mike Moore sent Nick Dodge down with a wicked open ice check and was challenged by several River Rats to fight. Instead, Brett Westgarth and Benn Olson went toe-to-toe in a marathon battle and as they were sent to the penalty boxes, Frazer McLaren and Brad Herauf exchanged heavy blows with Frazer taking the advantage at 4:01.”

Apparently Couture was also stoned on a break away. Sounds like he had an eventful game.
