State of the Sharks - FTF's Pre-Event Meeting

Its looking more and more likely that I’ll be able to go (when I asked my mom, she said, “It looks like the car might be free,” which is the closest thing to a “yes” I’ll ever get). And I’m probably bringing my friend with me as well. Just State of the Sharks, though, since we’re poor high schoolers that can’t afford to eat out, lol.

I just drove by HP Pavillion, and while I was waiting at the light, I saw Sharkie testing out his segway. While attempting to do what I think was a doughnut, he spilled and ate it, hardcore.

Anyone know if there is a train from San Jose to Sacramento if so cost?,

I usually drive to the very few games I catch (1) last year Detroit, but I’m not very familiar with how that type of transportation works.

Amtrak runs the Capital Corridor train from Sacramento to San Jose…but I’m not sure if the schedule is feasable for Sharks games and whatnot…

I used to take it from Davis when I was in college, and if I remember it was like 18 bucks each way. But this was a few years ago…prices tend to rise.

Yeah

Some of the people were kind of long-winded. Others were fairly obviously drunk (my friend and I kept ourselves amused by trying to guess how much alcohol each questioner had). They should probably screen the people before letting them up there.

The funniest part (that I was there for) was the question to Joe about face-offs. I could not stop cracking up.

It was sort of a joke, because earlier McLellan was talking about if Joe plays 21 minutes and McGinn plays 4, maybe he should have given Joe 18 minutes and McGinn 7 based on who earns it, but Joe said he wanted more.

And then that question came along, and so they both brought it up. Got a few laughs.

I was going to ask…

But all my questions were for Doug and Greg, and they stated that they only wanted player questions in the beginning. By the second hour when the players left, I had to get over to my Dad’s birthday party before he killed me. I was going to ask before I took off, but there were already like 50 people in line at that point.
