Every time I think a team might sweep, they don’t. So, for the Pens benefit, (even though I was pulling fo the ‘Canes) I will think that aliens will interrupt the second to abducted both Staals and take them to their home planet to teach their people hockey. If that doesn’t ensure the brooms come out tonight, nothing will.

I’m rooting on the Pens in this round, but just don’t see the Canes letting themselves be swept under the rug. They didn’t come this far to see their hopes vanish so quickly.

GO CANES!!!
it’s been done before by the islanders, maple leafs and…ugh…red sox!!! the sharks were a goal away from doing it last year → game 6 + 4 overtimes = game 7 + 1 overtime.
besides i need something to watch other than the giants losing 2-1 every other day.

ugh the red sox,
that was back in the day when i didn’t care if they won now they are just as bad as the yankees, yankees red sox ugh hate em
I don't like you Detroit.
Rooting for the Canes
I’d like to see the Canes push the series since Lord Bettman is making us wait til the 5th to begin the Finals, but I just don’t see it happening.

Although in fairness to Nathan, this is pretty funny (why we should trade Jumbo Joe)
Don’t get me wrong, but I love Joe Thornton. Why would I do this? Well I have devised a plan to make this work. Lately people been saying Nabokov isn’t that good anymore. Therefore we’ll trade Joe Thornton to the Columbus Blue Jackets for Steve Mason. Thing is, we won’t actually trade Joe Thornton. We’ll have Christian Ehrhoff dress up as Joe Thornton, wear #19 and everything. Now, Joe Thornton will forever be known as Christian Ehrhoff. Shhhhh… No one will ever know.
Fear The Fin = We're not as think as you drunk we are.
And if this actually worked, you're golden
As many of you know, signing the Sedin Twins would put the Sharks over the Cap limit. Oh well. I found a way to make this work. The Sedins will get the “league minimum payment.” What others don’t know is Doug Wilson will also put 14 million dollars in an offshore bank account in the name of “Randall Stephens.” Sedins will take the money from Stephens, and no one will know about the money. The Sedins will be happy with the money, and Shark fans will be happy with the Sedin Twins on the Sharks.

I was too
And then I learned how, so I’m less impressed. But, yeah, here’s the code if you want to use it:
DEFINE:first-letter {color:#COLOR}
Obviously, change “DEFINE” and “COLOR” to the property you want to define and the hex code you want, respectively. And then put it in your CSS code.

How do you center an image in CSS? I wanted to do that yesterday and as far as I can tell trying to do something simple like centering an image is rocket science.
resident cartoonist @couchtarts.blogspot.com. Endorsed by Mr. K on "CINCODEMYOOR!!!!!"
I honestly have no idea. I tend to stick with HTML for things like that.
I mean, I’ll go check Dreamweaver to see if there’s any code that I’m forgetting, but the only way I can think of off the top of my head is to define a div layer and put the image in it, but that makes things overly complicated.
"I think I realized after the second or third punch, I should have taken his helmet off sooner." - Ryane Clowe
Fools and Sages
my discovery was that it IS over complicated. I just got Dreamweaver though, and I plan to learn it and not worry about such things. Well, not worry as much.
resident cartoonist @couchtarts.blogspot.com. Endorsed by Mr. K on "CINCODEMYOOR!!!!!"
Yeah, CSS complicates the simple things, but makes the aesthetic things much simpler and neat. I like it much better than defining things in HTML all the time.
I learned how to hand-code CSS like 5 years before I got Dreamweaver, so I often don’t bother with it. But it is helpful in that it has most of the codes that are used, and suggests things if you forget what its called.
"I think I realized after the second or third punch, I should have taken his helmet off sooner." - Ryane Clowe
Fools and Sages
oh yeah, html has series issues, but CSS can be a whole ‘nother world of pain. I’m still trying to grok it. Dreamweaver seems to be the better answer.
resident cartoonist @couchtarts.blogspot.com. Endorsed by Mr. K on "CINCODEMYOOR!!!!!"
series?
serious. Needed some more and different vowels.
resident cartoonist @couchtarts.blogspot.com. Endorsed by Mr. K on "CINCODEMYOOR!!!!!"
Haha
Yeah, I’ve just worked with CSS for, what, 8 years now? So I’ve had plenty of experience with it, and once you memorize the main property thingies (like font-size, font-family, color, background, font-weight, etc.), you can define most anything.
But, yeah. Dreamweaver is easy, although I’ve found it takes longer than just me coding it alone.
"I think I realized after the second or third punch, I should have taken his helmet off sooner." - Ryane Clowe
Fools and Sages
I don't doubt that
I find coding tedious, and my html is rusty, which is why I have been lazy and using blogspot.
It’s a wonder I didn’t get Dreamweaver sooner!
resident cartoonist @couchtarts.blogspot.com. Endorsed by Mr. K on "CINCODEMYOOR!!!!!"
I’m weird and I like hand-coding things, which is why I’m using Wordpress and making my own layouts and stuff.
"I think I realized after the second or third punch, I should have taken his helmet off sooner." - Ryane Clowe
Fools and Sages
it's not that weird
I’m sure if it clicks, it’s a lot of fun. It’s just not my bag.
resident cartoonist @couchtarts.blogspot.com. Endorsed by Mr. K on "CINCODEMYOOR!!!!!"
Haha
Its not exactly CSS 101, lol
But looking at blogspot’s source code, here is the line that I believe will work:
h3.post-title entry-title:first-letter {color: #39babc;}
"I think I realized after the second or third punch, I should have taken his helmet off sooner." - Ryane Clowe
Fools and Sages
Let's just say...
Hypothetically, if I was one of those people who didn’t know how to work out that HTML and CSS stuff…
Where and how would I enter that in?
Checking blogspot, I believe you first go to Layout, then Edit HTML, and then in the big huge text box insert it right underneath the thing that says:
/* Use this with templates/template-twocol.html */
Or something similar. But no guarantees that it works – if it doesn’t, just try:
h3:first-letter {color: #39babc;}
Its less defined, but also less likely to be wrong.

It just takes a while to learn. I’ve had 8 years, so don’t worry about it ;)
And I honestly have no idea what to do, so, yeah. Sorry. I could probably figure it out in about 2 hours, but I’m feeling all lazy right now, lol
