This may be an old subject but................
What are everone's top 5 places to watch a Sharks game? This of course needs to be outside of the tank and your home where you can sit and watch it on your 52" LCD. I know I have fun watching games at Rock Bottom..........especially in the playoffs. I hear the restaurant at Shark's Ice is pretty cool and I bet the Brit downtown is good. I have never been there though. So let me see everyone's top 5 or 3 list.

Stanley's at Shark's Ice is probably my favorite place to go.
The Old Pro in Palo Alto’s pretty good too. Even if there are times you have to ask for the game to get turned on a nearby TV. Other than that it’s pretty much the Tank or home for me.

hmm...
Where have I watched games besides the Tank and my house? Well I watched some games at my cousin’s house but I don’t know if you’re welcome there. Ummm… I’ve listened to games on the radio….
I’ll stop there. Obviously I don’t know any good places to watch a game! I mean I can’t really go in a bar…
uhh...alright
1. in my room
2. on the couch in the living room
3. at a friends house

if you're near Los Altos
My friend co-owns a bar/restaurant called “first & main” in Los Altos and they always show Sharks games. They even have a gong that they hit every time the Sharks score. It’s a little foofy and sometimes is family heavy, but they respect the sport. If I’m looking for a more down and dirty time, Old Pro is great. Plus, you can ride the mechanical bull during the intermissions if you get bored.
we need a FTF outing for that next season
That’d be hilarious to watch

The only restaurant I’ve been to during a game was Double D’s (a sports bar in downtown Los Gatos), and it was pretty good. It was where I watched Game 7, and there was definitely a LOT of interest in that game (every TV was turned to it, despite the A’s/Giants game going on). Decent food, lots of hi-def TVs, plus pool tables and video games. A fair number of kids’ sports teams use that as their party place though, so watch out in the spring, because it could be infested with twelve year olds running around with cleats.

Downtown Brew
In San Luis Obispo was where I USED to go to watch games. But when I got too drunk and called the bartender a homosexual for not putting on the audio, I got banned from that bar. So yeah, home.

Good to know
another FTF’er has visited that fine establishment. My roommate was a security guard there and I used to be able to get in underage, no questions asked. Good times.
