Lifetime's new summer programming. Two shows with almost the same name... but the comma makes all the difference.

This I will find funny if he doesn’t end up on our team. Until then, I reserve my laughter…
mostly.

This is so true. And one of the many reasons why I don’t watch lifetime, despite being female.

being female has nothing to do with it … liking quality tv does … :)

Well sure, if you want to be realistic about it ;)

Don’t underestimate the absurdity of Lifetime movies.

dude, the theme song is terrifying. I think I vomited a little when it got to the “everyone’s getting pregnant” bit. I don’ t know why I keep watching it…
Welcome
Looks like I missed your first comment, but I’ll assume that it mixed both wit and a disdain for Lifetime as this one so eloquently does.

It offends my delicate female sensibilities
by implying that I have delicate female sensibilities.

Lifetime is the shit
I’m gonna come straight out and say that my dad and I love watching Lifetime movies. The plots are flat-out hilarious.
I remember one where an Amish lady escapes and goes back to kick ass. Also, there’s one where a boat explodes.
You can say what you want… but I’m with a10dency2ask. Lifetime is legit.

quality tv is overrated
lifetime has no pretensions!

you two are weird
I can get the same “womanly oriented” programming on TLC, minus the bad plots and tampon filter. Sadly, the saccharine music and pacing still apply. TLC has weird stuff on it too, like all those gross medical shows where people are missing half their skulls or something.
That dude with his heart outside of his ribs was crazy! Well, he was sane, his situation, eh, not so much.

I think something must be wrong with me … I have just never been interested in those shows that they claim are “female oriented”. They lack anything remotely interesting.
