Didn't see that one coming.

Good luck on the golf course Monsieur Lemieux, and thanks for all the, er, memories.

Fanshots are like real shots. Good in small quantities, but too many and you may black out and wake up a day later in a strange place with a strange person.

What’s wrong with waking up in a strange place with a strange person?

I thought we'd lost you!

Nice to have you back!

I was never gone … it’s off season … I’m just going slightly mad and trying to not drag others with me. :)

I did this once

Went on a bender on a Friday night in Santa Rosa and woke up Sunday morning in between a blonde and a redhead in a dorm on the Cal campus. I could not remember the whole weekend.

I was not that out of it

They were 21 & 22 year old coeds & I was a senior in high school.

Did that one guy’s FanPost blog inspire you to start a FanShot blog?

I totally did not see the 43-year-old hockey player retiring coming. I am completely shocked.

:-O

WHAT’S DW GOING TO DO TO FILL HIS HOLE IN THE LINEUP!!!!! THIS PROVES WILSON DOESN’T CARE ABOUT ANYTHING BUT GETTING A TAN.

They need an asst. coach too...

Could be the first ever player/gm/coach in history!

When Doug Wilson says he wants to get tougher, does that count criminals?

Good riddance. Farewell to the dirtiest player I have ever had the displeasure of watching in teal.

I doubt Mike Ricci showered, if that’s what you’re getting at.

Claude didn't do much of anything in teal

not sure he was the dirtiest player ever to don the uniform

I think he was speaking of past transgressions. Can’t say I agree, but he definitely has a point.

Not many people like the guy.

Mush! One of my favourites

In that series against Dallas I think he put Modano and some other dude on the IR.

It was Joe Niewendyke (however you spell that). I think there is still a bounty out on his head in parts of Texas.

Now with both of those guys in office jobs for the same teams

Things could get nasty!

I’m predicting Marchment will fax Joey a picture of his elbow.

It

was great having him on the team even though he played like how many games exactly? 30 mins total? Hahah! Just playing ya’ll, wish him the best of luck.

by justinleagueheroes on Jul 8, 2009 9:56 PM PDT reply actions

I enjoyed his presence.

I think the point he raised about the injuries on the third and fourth lines hurting the Sharks is true, as we all have covered. I feel his signing was a total psych job for if the Sharks had played the Red Wings. But, I feel his presence will have helped, especially in our AHL guys.
