I'm aware, as are many others, that Evgeni Nabokov, more than likely, will be the Sharks goalie for the '09-'10 season. Also, I'm aware that the Sharks have plenty of goaltending depth behing him (Greiss, Stalock, Sexsmith, Sateri). My question is, moving forward, who will be the Sharks goaltender that will be the succesor to, arguably, the best SJ goalie ever?
I've seen Greiss play and from what I've seen, it looks like he's got a case of the rookie jitters 24/7. He's not a good puck handeler and really, to me, doesn't make very sound goalie decisions. I'm not going to say anything about any of the other goalies because I've never seen them play. However, if GREISS is the best of the bunch, our goaltending situation after Nabby is in serious jeapordy.
Let me hear your opinion.
