Isn’t Ontario in California? I’m pretty sure there’s a Sharks/Kings pre-season game there.

Yes. There's an Ontario, California.

It’s the home of the Kings’ ECHL affiliate, Ontario Reign (whom the Stockton Thunder eliminated in the 1st rd of the 2008-09 playoffs – huzzah!)

And you’re correct about the preseason game. I’m jealous. I’d like to see an NHL game at Stockton Arena, which I imagine would have to be coordinated by the Thunder and their parent team – Edmonton Oilers.
