Road trip to Anaheim

I've asked this of others, and hey, not insulted no one has responded yet, but thought I would put this out there for all ...

The Sharks are playing the Ducks on November 21st (a Saturday) down south so I'm going to be taking my niece (who is in school down that way) to the game. Anyone want to join me for the trip down (and of course back up)? Think about it, let me know, so we can buy some tickets.

I don’t mind long car rides. I actually enjoy being stuck in a car for 6-7 hours with 5 other people.

I’m still on the fence about which game or if I’ll even be able to go down. The biggest issue is that I don’t think I’ll have enough $$ to be able to cover a place to crash, just a ticket, gas and food. I was thinking I might just drive down during the day, meet up with whoever would be there from FTF, watch the game and then turn around and head home. Don’t know if you were planning to stay the night or what, but I don’t mind driving some of the time and I definitely would throw in for gas.

Just figured out my plans … will only be going down for the Nov 21st game … and will be going down there on Saturday, driving back on Sunday. So yeah, I’ll be finding a place to stay. Dont’ really want to do the “come back after the game thing”, since part of why I"m heading down is to see my niece who is going to school down there. So going to take her to the game, and probably take her out for breakfast (she’s a poor college kid afterall) before heading back up.

As for gas, since I’m going anyways, not looking for contributions. But I would be happy for the company. :)

Road trip to Phx?

for a non-Sharks game …

So don’t know if anyone has seen, but over at Mirtle’s place it is mentioned how the opening home game for Phx will be $25 lower / $15 upper. We all know the bullshit they have been going thru all summer, and still are. Maybe to show support for the fans there, we should do a road trip (okay not road exactly but) there. Yes, not our team, but hockey fans should stick together.
