Sharks - Streaming Live Online

After reading about the people who will soon have their Sharks games blacked out because they do not have Comcast Sports - CA. (which is BS, blacked out pro sports is ridiculous)..

..where is the best site to watch live streams of the Sharks when the regular season starts??

What sites do people who don't have cable use?

Any suggestions??

Any sites that aren't worth trying??

What are the best bars in the East Bay to watch Sharks games?

Sharks ice in Fremont.

They’d show the game right?

I’m sure they show it at Dry Ice in Oakland too.

Stanley's in Fremont does.

But the one time I went there I ended up driving to the one in San Jose anyway.

channelsurfing.net

It has the same stream sources as atdhe.net but sometimes one works and the other doesn’t. Just keep it in mind if the adthe.net streaming link freezes or whatever.

Bars in the East Bay kinda suck for Sharks games, at least they do here in Berkeley. Sharks Ice in Oakland might have the game on though…

I used to use adthe but had lots of problems (freezing, no game, etc.) so I switched to ustream and love it. I don’t have a TV so I need something dependable to see the Sharks.

Fine.

I’ll post my super-secret source. If it’s not there, it probably doesn’t exist. It usually links to ustream or atdhe or something else.

San Luis Obispo Area

Any Ideas where to find the game. Ive found that being in the dorm basically means SOL

by SLOSharks on Sep 30, 2009 7:22 AM PDT reply actions

I watched every game in SLO last year (with the exception of the few I watched in Cupertino).

It was all atdhe for me until they got hit with a cease & desist, then the team teal ustream.

The major downside to living in the dorms is that you couldn’t get center ice if you wanted to. Also no versus if I remember correctly.

On the plus side, you have blazing wicked fast internet, although CCA may pose some problems for you. The IT guys for the dorm should be able to help you if that’s the case though because I don’t think watching streaming hockey is a violation of the Terms of Use Agreement with the school.

I shouldn't have said anything.

I was in SLO for five years...

And I’d have to say that Firestone was the best place to catch games. (I think they have Dish, too, so no Versus blackout). If they don’t have it on, tell the bartender, and he/she will.

I’m salivating over the fries right now.

That

Is not a bad Idea, nothing beats the fries and BBQ Sauce.

Thanks,

Yeah no versus, i Subscribed to center ice last year unknowing of charters rights to CSNBA and therefore was blacked out of every sharks game online, basically pissing 80 bucks down the drain. Im looking forward to watching thursdays game online though

did you try using a proxy?

it’s a very popular technique among mlb.tv users.

by phastphill on Oct 2, 2009 8:10 PM PDT up reply actions

I didnt

I dont intend on subscribing again though if i can stream the games online for free then use the projector adapter to put it on my tv…not great quality, but the price is right

George & Walt’s on College in Oakland.

I'm going to step this up a notch.

I’m interested in streaming NHL games to my TV using TVersity. I use TVersity for a lot of media, but I haven’t tried it with Center Ice (or anything less official). Has anyone tried this?
