Man, Milan Lucic is a beast at fighting.

According to Hockeyfights.com votes he went 9-1-1 in his fights last year. Watch his fights they’re ridiculous.

by idunno723 on Sep 30, 2009 7:07 AM PDT reply actions

Had him on my fantasy team last year, and that’s why I drafted him again this year. Don’t mess with Milan Lucic, ask Chris Neil. Take it easy man, it’s only a preseason game!

I dare you to tell him he looks like a sissy in yellow.

Puck Daddy: "You would definitely hate the Ducks more than you'd hate the Kings, right?"
    Joe Pavelski: "Yeah, definitely."

    TM is a bad actor

JR should’ve shown him the ropes before he left. Also, those guys over there at the Sens blog are basically creaming their pants about Cheech. They’re saying that alongside Spezza he’ll make a run at 50 goals again… This is an obvious question, but have they watched any Sharks games since 2006? I’m guessing not, otherwise they would realize that even with his limited time with Joe post-Richard, he did not come close to approaching 50 goals.

    Delusions of Cheechoo grandeur indeed.

    Good.

Let them cream. I even hope Cheech does well over there.

that Cheechoo article is extremely weird
By leaving San Jose, Cheechoo now embarks on an actual chance to win the coveted Stanley Cup – a feat in doubt in San Jose with Joe Thornton and Patrick Marleau who seem to ‘curl up in fetal positions’ during post-season play, according to most analysts

    the author honestly thinks that?

    The best part

is that they think he actually has a better chance of winning in Ottawa than in San Jose… did they even make the playoffs last year?

I stand by my theory that all leadership will be on the blue line this year.

    C Boyle
    A Blake, Murray

Joe and Patty enjoy just being players.

by Evilducks on Sep 30, 2009 10:08 AM PDT up reply actions

    I agree with that

The captain will NOT be a forward – I’d bet 10:1.

Not sure that it’s Blake and Murray, but I’d love for that to be the case. Don’t need any Canadian media debating why San Jose likes messing with forwards heads by keeping Joe an “A” while Patty isn’t.

People in San Jose are probably refreshing WTC more often today than a Radiohead fan at 10am on Ticketmaster.

Two guys making roughly 13.5 M between them and neither wears a letter? I don’t think that happens, but I’ve obviously been wrong before.

    C- Boyle
    A- Thornton
    A- Pavelski

That’s who I want, but I think Joe and Boyle are locks. The final spot could be Blake or Murray for all I know.

    I like

but it would’ve been nice to see a more “long term” captain selection since he only has a one year contract…

Interesting that a “one year captain” comes about when Pavelski and Marleau only have one year left on their contracts. I don’t think that’s a coincidence.

Thanks, TM, for letting the players “earn” the C.

    Kinda OT

But you know the whole “Next 5 Games” and “Last 5 Games” widget on the sidebar? Well, because of the preseason, the “Last 5 Games” no longer chronicles the utter fail that was the Ducks series. That is cause for celebration.
