It's a small hockey world! Oct.2006 in Stockton, CA for a Thunder event. On the left, Oilers goaltender Devan Dubnyk, who took the loss in San Jose on Jan.16.10. Right, Anaheim Ducks forward Troy Bodie, who worked against SJ's top line (and took the double minor) at the Tank on Jan.21.10.

Thanks
It was great seeing those two at the Tank within a short span. Really good guys, both of them.
Bodie was loved in Stockton. He’d chip in the occasional goal and pummel the opposition.. And an 06 Sportsnet vid on Dooob. Regarding Stockton, Prendergast says “Get a goaltender like him, it’s like winning the lottery for them.”
Too bad that 2006-07 team fell well short of the Kelly Cup. They were fun to watch, with Rollie Melanson’s son Mathieu, Pat Verbeek’s younger brother Tim, Ken Hodge’s son Brendon and of course a mix of skilled Edmonton prospects and ECHL contracted players. Good times.
