If you pick just one link to look at

Make it the Broad Street Hockey article – it’s eye-opening.

Fear the Fin: "C'mon Drew, we're going streaking!" - Randy Hahn, 12/31/09

Good call on that article...

I was watching that game, I believe CSN had the Philly feed. And as they were calling the game, the Philly announcers made a point to show that Gaborik engaged Carcillo first (a dumb move on his part, to be sure). When watching the highlights later that night on NHLN, they had the Rags feed, and as the play was happening, they were already calling it a jump by Carcillo, and trying to castrate him for it…conveniently leaving out the part where Gaborik was in Carcillo’s grill first.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I believe Carcillo is the embodiment of a “goon,” but in this case, he didn’t start it. Of course he’s going to be more than willing (even eager) to drop the gloves with a star if provoked. That’s his job! And I could already see the media bias against Carcillo come out in the brief NHL On The Fly piece they did on the game. It’s pretty amazing how the media can twist whatever they want to prove a point. But, we probably shouldn’t be surprised…especially when it comes from New York media. They’re the most one sided, blatantly unbiased media in the country.

The writer for Broad Street Hockey hit the nail on the head with that article. Good read.

You’ve obviously never heard a Chicago baseball broadcast. It’s not all media here, but sports are pretty bad. Unabashedly rooting for the home team, no hint of neutrality at all.

Makes you think about all the other biased news running around there, especially about stuff that matters (Fox News, MSNBC, etc.)

I have to say, I really love these 'Off the Post' entries

Checking Puck Daddy, I must say Las Vegas gets an A+ for creativity when it comes to promos. The ECHL (and AHL) often present themed sweaters throughout the season, for holidays, fundraisers, etc. or just for shits&giggles. Some (many) of these end up on the Design Wall of Shaaaame. Next up for LV: Wranglers will dress like Girl Scouts. Yeaaah

This weekend, the Thunder wore special “Throwback Style” sweaters with a diagonal Stockton wordmark. Looked sharp! I was going to buy a replica the FanAttic, but they sold out : (

Youtube: Sat.1/24 game highlights/interviews. Fun game! And afterward, I ran into the Arena pub to catch the end of Sharks/Sabres. NICE.

Defending Big D has another one of those Haiti fundraiser GDTs right now. Join in if you feel like it; $0.05 for every comment can add up, and absolutely no money out of your own pocket!

Plus, great way of procrastinating for those who don’t want to do homework/housework/any kind of work.

Man, I really need to preview this crap before I post

I just did a strait copy from Sleek’s image, I guess he shrunk the dimensions a bit in his.
