Lately on Fear The Fin the fanposts have been getting a lot of action from individuals trying to sell their tickets. I think it's a great thing for the community as it allows us to trade tickets for games without going through sites like Stubhub where the middle man gets a cut of the deal. This is strictly a consumer to consumer based marketplace, and that really appeals to me.
However, I don't like the idea of FTF becoming a free for all in the Fanposts, with daily posts concerning tickets dominating the discussion. It detracts from what we're all trying to do here, and frankly, it looks kind of ugly on the sidebar. Sort of like if Michael Berryman and Jocelyn Wildenstein got together and made a baby. The kind of ugly you can't wipe from your poor cerebral cortex even if you had an economy sized bucket of Clorox handy.
In order to combat that, as well as consolidate ticketing information on the site, please use this thread going forward. I'll leave the rest of the Fanposts up for now, but if one gets posted in the future, I'm going to go ahead and delete it after copying the body of the post and posting it as a comment below.
Also, be sure to rec this five times so it gets bumped up into the Recommended section and doesn't need to be republished every three days or so.
Enjoy, and go Sharks.
