Jonathan Cheechoo feature on Versus

Here's part II. Also a highlight video of the Cheechoo train in Worcester.

I don't know if you guys saw this yet and if you haven't you should definitely watch this. It makes me miss Cheech. Such an awesome guy, hope he makes it back to the NHL somehow.

# 14 Cheechoo

I still put the #14 jersey on weekly! I hope you get the call to come play again with the Sharks! Soon…Very Soon! I was one of the 17k Finatics rooting when you came to the tank as a Senator! We need a change soon! Come back Cheech!

I hope Cheech makes it back the league somewhere.

He’s a good guy. And I still think he can teach the boys in Worcester a lot.

Also… Braun kinda looks like JR from his mugshot AND he wears 27? Little creepy.

I just talk a lot and somehow accidentally say things that sound smart. It’s all smoke and mirrors, I tell ya.

If Cheech keeps working hard

he will make it back to the NHL.
For those who want him back on the Sharks, think of a Gooch, Cheech, and Cooch line (what a tongue-twister) ;-)

Oh man...I cried.

Obviously I don’t want him back for sentimental reasons only while currently our team is struggling but GDit…I’m glad Cheech is back in teal as a Shark in some aspect. I hope to see him back up in the NHL soon.

You and me both - all teary-eyed

I sure miss Cheech and watching this reminded me how much he was loved in SJ. Hope he makes it back to the NHL some day, but so glad he is part of the Sharks family once again.

Thanks for posting this.

If someone asked me who the hardest working player on the Sharks was during the last five years, I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to answer Jonathan Cheechoo. I hope he soon gets another shot at the big show. This team misses Cheech’s grit and drive. He’s a throwback to the Darryl Sutter coaching years and you know, he may just end up in Calgary.

i would love to see this guy get back into the NHL. How can you not root for the hard-working guy who had a hard fall from grace? second chances are always feel-good stories
