VOTE All-Sharks for NHL All-Star game!

There's only one Shark that's made it to the leaderboard!!! Dan Boyle is # 16 in the top 20 vote getters as of 12/2/10. This is embarassing! Here's the link: 2011 NHL All-Star Ballot

I know a lot of fans don't really care for the All-Star game. I admit it's pretty silly, but still, I think at least one Shark should be on the team.

Here's a campaign video that I did for the 2009 NHL All-Star game. It was my "special" reason to vote for All-Sharks on the ballot. Yeah the video is dated - Nabby, Roenick, Ehrhoff & Grier are featured in it, but I still think it's pertinent. So go out and VOTE ALL-SHARKS FOR THE ALL-STARS!

I don’t really have the time to go voting over and over though. But I’ll try to get some more votes in.

There’s a problem with the text voting. By the way, the number is 81812.

When I sent “Thornton”, it made me pick between Shawn and Joe. Joe is #2. That made it two texts.

Then I sent “Dan Boyle” and it still made me pick between Brian and Dan. Again, Dan is #2, so I had to send two texts.

Fine, maybe it’s a little presumptuous to assume a vote for Thornton is for Jumbo and not his cousin, but when I type in Dan Boyle, I shouldn’t have to clarify further!

Can’t you just text “Sharks” and it will vote in all the Sharks that are on the ballot? I haven’t done it so I’m not sure if that’s right or not.

I think that is a way to get Sharks updates via text. It wasn’t related to the ASG.

Niemi over Nitty?!

I know Niemi won the cup with the Hawks last year but considering that Nitty has played most of the games this year and has done fairly well, he should get some votes too. So don’t forget to do a write in ballot for Nitty.
