Who is the greatest Defenseman in the history of the San Jose Sharks?
We had a forward poll. Now, who is the greatest Defenseman in the history of the Sharks? Erhoff? Boyle? Blake? Who is the greatest defenseman in the history of the Sharks? Anyone counts that has played for San Jose. And it doesn't have to be from that list, oh no, it doesn't. Who is the greatest in San Jose Sharks history? Leave your thoughts in the comments section. If it is a tie, mention all the names. And please give sensible answers, not something crazy.

Simple.
Doug Wilson. This guy brought character and leadership to a sharks team desperately in need of it, stopped playing hockey and ascended to general manager, where he has made some of the best moves ever. I do not think that anyone has had the impact that Doug Wilson had on the franchise.
Definitely keep the discussion going...

Fear The Fin: Where Selling Your Soul Is The Likely Solution
I'm going to have to disagree with this one here.
I’m flabbergasted that a person like you with such an immense hockey knowledge would overlook Alexei Semenov, or even Brad Lukowich. Both have the qualities that make a hockey player great. I’m sure children across the continent, let alone the world aspire to be like them. Which one is the greatest San Jose Sharks defensemen? I don’t know, but I do know either of them deserve the honor.

Sandis Ozolinsh- who else comes back to play with their original team 12 years later?

I would also say Doug Wilson
But some other good canidates would be Ozolinsh and Marcus Ragnarsson…..
Toss up between
Alexei Semenov and Kyle McLaren (WITH the yellow visor).

I can’t even say that while keeping a straight face
on serious, Marcus Ragnarsson was one of the more undeservedly and under-appreciated d-men
