You mean the first round exit?

Or the old logo?

The old logo, so brutal. Although it does have it’s charm looking back on it.

Pretty sure we switched it two weeks before the playoffs began? That was probably the sole cause for the first round exit.

I’m kinda a fan of the old logo – I dunno. Nothing against the new one – I just find parallels between the two FTF logos and the classic / new SJ Sharks logo. I wear a newer Pavelski jersey, but my heart remains firmly in the classic-logo camp.

I remember that old logo

It really does have it’s own cheesy charm. Ah, the old days…

Anyone else think the shark has a mean underbite? (is that what dentists call it?)

It has that “It has a shark, and a hockey rink, and a teal-ish color. Sharks blog logo done!” feeling to it. It definitely has some charm, but in that nostalgic way more than anything.

I think you wrote this post when you changed the logo. I always remember reading that article because it was awesomely well written. It’s too bad the Sharks pooped it in the playoffs…

Ahem, don’t you mean, “What does Evegni Nabokov know about dark days?”

And I’m done beating that into the ground. But wow, that logo brings back some memories. We were so innocent, so naive, thinking that we would always win the first round. Alas, that was not to be.

Wow, this was probably way before I even spoke English.

Was Nabokov’s father tending the goal in San Jose at the time?

Ah, the old logo! The only charm is in the nostalgia. That thing is atrocious.

There is something charming here.

I like the shark’s massive under bite and the blurry local 11:00am free skate in the background.
