OFFICIAL OFF DAY
We're taking an off day. The whole unit, from a10dency2ask to ZombieSkittles. A to Z.
The Sharks stink right now. We all know it. I feel like drinking a liter of lighter fluid and swallowing a box of matches, but not today. Today I will... well, I'd rather not put that out there for public consumption. But it will be done. And it will be grand.
No mention of hockey, the Sharks, or anything related to ice in this thread. Besides snow cones of course. Those are excellent.
If you're really feeling the need to get some things off your chest, direct your attention to Ivano's recap. Chances are it has all been said the last few days but whatevs.
Super happy fun times forget the sorrow. The sun will rise again tomorrow.
Go Sharks.

I'm going to see Jon Lajoie at the Improv tonight probably

Jon Lajoie is hilarious!
Or at least in the videos he makes.

The League is an amazing show. I really hope it gets picked up for a second season.

The League is one of my favorite shows. FX is doing a bang up job right now (Sons of Anarchy, Fringe, Archer).
Right when I saw the scene where they had the kids potato sack race for draft order I was sold haha. Too goddamn funny.

Hahaha, yeah. The sack race was definately a hook for the show. The whole 6 episode season was just hilareous all the way through.
I’ve seen the ads for Archer, and they looked funny, but I haven’t watched it yet. Is it worth tracking down?
Also, can’t forget about It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia when talking about FX’s programming!

Shit, totally forgot about Sunny and I’m a huge fan. Great network right now.
Archer is definitely worth tracking down, it’s brilliantly witty. Right up your alley, and similar to Harvey Birdman and Sunny.
Also, I’m pretty sure The League got re-upped a month or so ago. I’ll try and find a link.

Confirmed. Looks like they re-upped right after season one was completed.

NICE!
Looks like they’ll get a full season too. This is very good news!
I’ll have to check out Archer, as well.

Yup
He mentioned it at the show, “I’ve got a job for a year, sweet”
Great show, I don’t think I’d heard his song about 2 girls 1 cup before.
He sang that birthday song from the first episode as well. Good stuff.

But I had a blast as a Sentinel – much easier than I expected. Area Dominate is a lot of fun. I liked making them shoot at each other.

I got my BBQ all marinating, and ready for a big game tonight. It’s been years I’ve been that excited about basketball. Actually, tonight will mark just the second time I am watching a game in the last 12 months.

Not bad. People seem to have forgotten about Cuse. I liked K-State (I’m a Big 12 fan, though…through my Texas fandom), and then Kansas had beaten K-State 3 times this year, so that’s where Kansas ended up in my finals. Figured Big East was overrated this season. If Cuse makes a run, though, you’ll be in good shape. Kentucky has looked unstoppable.

im not a fan of sierra nevada brewert. I like the big room for music but the food isnt all that great. If im gonna spend the money its all about the Basque Norte. Seriosuly though if people come to chico they should go hit up burrito wagons. Best in california.

I haven’t really been impressed with Basque Norte. I buy their sauce but that’s about it, and i agree about the wagons, but you really have to know which ones to hit up. The only time i’m in the big room is for my husbands company Christmas party. One reason why I like the Brewery though is the fact that i can take my son there, and he doesn’t bother anyone. We’ve made the mistake of taking him to some places where it was just not child friendly at all around here shudders Thai Basil incident…
