Gary Peterson on Thornton's injury
For those that don't get the deadwood version of the Merc, Gary Peterson decided to take his shot at writing a Sharks column today (Purdy and Kawakami must've been too busy with March Madness). It's standard fare on Thornton's injury, his reputation as being unable to step it up, and the usual blah blah yackety smackety. Nothing special, but the observation on Joe's declining production in each season since the trade is interesting, or at least something I hadn't realized until now.
