SAN JOSE - San Jose Sharks Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the team has recalled goaltender Henrik Karlsson from Frajestads BK Karlstad of the Swedish Elite League.

Karlsson, 26, spent this season with Farjestads BK Karlstad, where he posted a 2.45 goals-against average and a .914 save percentage in 40 games. His 2.45 goals-against average ranked him sixth in the League, while his .914 save percentage ranked him fourth. Karlsson also tied for second in the League in shutouts with four.
