Yikes, that was a vicious shot by Detroit. There should be two penalties on that, since during the delayed penalty, the puck carried got hauled down…so there should be a holding and a 2 mintue 5 on 3…I doubt they’ll do that to Detroit, though…

To be fair, Marleau has been pretty terrible this series so far. I know we’re all pretty sensitive to Patty hate here, and rightfully so, but this year, it’s kinda deserved…so far. He’ll break out of it, I’m sure.

Haha, they can’t win every game. And the O’s can’t lose every game (no matter how hard they try). The PHX-DET game has been very entertaining, though!

Spezza is pretty awesome. Their top line is really quite good. Also, the Pens are not a good team this year. No better than Ottawa anyways.

That’s true. They have spent the last 10 minutes not even talking about what’s happening on the ice, but talking about how fucking glorious the Pens are. How Fleury is an amzing goalie, how Crosby is so inspirational that he’s inspired his entire team to be the best players ever. If I wasn’t watching the game, I would have no idea what the hell was going on by just listening.

The Devils announcers are upset over the call… The stick is clearly between the Flyer’s legs and eventually he trips over it.
The announcers think that since he was trying to get the stick out before tripping the guy it should be let go.

I heard reports he was skating earlier in the week, they seemed hopeful he’d play this series, even early this series.
