I worked on this video the last couple of days, wanted to get this out ahead of tonight's game 5.

I am relatively new here at FTF so I'm not sure what the protocol is regarding fan made videos. I make these all the time at McCovey Chronicles for the Giants. However, one thing I'll state up front is the music selection. Those that read MCC knows I almost always use asian music as the soundtrack to my videos. If that is against your religion or something, please do not continue.

The song is Tegami by Angela Aki. The song describes a 15 year old child facing difficulties in life with thoughts of giving up. She writes a letter to herself in the future because the only person she isn't afraid to tell the truth is herself. Later in the song her future self also writes a letter back, letting her younger self know to believe in her dreams and keep on fighting. Never give up. Believe in yourself and keep walking forward. Everybody fails at some point in life, lick your wounds and keep on walking.

In a sense, that's what being a Sharks fan is about. The playoffs failures. The heart breaks. But we can't look down on ourselves. The only way to heal the wounds is to continue forward, take a lickin and keep on tickin.
