"Every Ending brings a New Beginning"
Today was the day. I hopped in my car a little after 2:00 this afternoon, and drove down to the tank to meet with the Sharks, and pass along the "Something for Nabby" Blocker, our gift to Nabby, for delivery.

Ivan, he is 100% awesome.
He wants to meet up for beers the next time I’m downtown. You’d love his stories. He must have said “I should go now” about 5-6 times, then proceeded to start on another story about someone he drove around. The best ones were about the Chicago players, and how he taunted them with all the Sharks gear in the cab.
Funniest part was when I showed him where you signed…

To be honest with you, it’s been years since I talked hockey to a fellow Russian in person. I had a buddy in town couple of years ago and took him to few games – but that’s it.
Fear the Fin - where Russians are underappreciated.
You could tell he was an avid follower.
He talked about how he likes watching the games at Peggy Sue’s because he can hear the calls over the crowd. Vented a lot about how SF bars don’t show the playoffs, but rather show “meaningless opener games in baseball.”
