Sharks, Setoguchi close on a one year deal

The Sharks have shown a preference to signing young players to short-term deals as they work closer to unrestricted free agency. It doesn't look like Setoguchi will be any different. "What we've tried to do is have a consistent approach," Sharks GM Doug Wilson said. "We give them contracts when they earn it. We try not to do it too much before."
