Yeah i wonder why he spelled his name “nitty” with only one “i” when it’s really spell Niitymaki. Does he think we wouldn’t accept him if he had two "i"s in his name? I’m disappointed. It’s like when Nabby used to be “John Nabokov” lol.
I can’t get excited or anything bout the mask. Just makes me miss Nabby more. Maybe when the season starts I’ll get over this blah I still feel bout him being gone.

Eh, nevermind. I think its kinda lame actually. Cartoonish but not intimidating. The Shark looks kinda slow and chunky, and not very cunning. I know, I know… it’s just a mask.
the sharks do look a bit like Bruce in Finding Neemo but I do like the concept referencing him to gangster Frank Nitti. I checked out Arrigo’s other masks he’s done and I think he probably could have done a better job at making meaner looking sharks and i wish it was the full bodied logo on top not the triangle one

Nice Mask
viewing physical evidence that Nabby is no longer our guy is tough. Even though I KNOW he’s gone it just feels weird. I wish him well in Russia and am kind of glad I don’t have to see him donning say a Philly sweater.

technical details matter when it comes to art.
It looked like the Hunchback of Notre Dame had died and had his skin fall off on that mask.

Eh I'd argue technical details come second to composition.
I really hate masks (or any art) cluttered with technically nice pictures that have no semblance of coherence or overall design. But to each his own.

But does anybody know if Couture will get a chance at the Calder Cup next year? He has 25 regular season NHL games under his belt
