DW's 3 way?
The internet is buzzing with rumors that there is going to be a significant 3 way deal shortly.
From Eklund over at HockeyBuzz.com.
"This just in from an OUTSTANDING source familiar with the situation...I am expecting more on this shortly...
"The trade would involve another #1 going back to Montreal, and a defenseman who would be flipped to San Jose for a quality forward with size.""
As well as;
"*Another source tells me a "Cup Contender is about to make a move that will shock some people."
The first quote is no doubt in reference to Carey Price being traded out of Montreal to an un-specified team for another starter and hopefully a solid D-man. The "quality forward with size" is certainly Ryane Clowe , sorry mssjsclowie :-( .
The second quote is unmistakably a sure sign that DW is involved.
So my question is "Who is the third team involved in the deal, and which D-man are we looking at?"

Given that this is Eklund, the third team is probably the imaginary fairies in his head. No idea on what D-man that’d result in.

It's on hockeybuzz.
Take it with a pound of salt.
Don't let the name deceive you, I'm not just a Sharks fan but a Lakers, 49ers, Angels, Giants (and to a lesser extent) Capitals, and Titans fan.

True. But many of us here are hoping for a d-man, so maybe we can slop off half that salt off? And reserve it for the next rumor Eklund starts passing around? The ones about Niemi going to the Sharks need extra helpings (:

- And by hoping for a d-man, I didn’t mean to imply that it will be just because I hope it will, but rather that for the same reasons we’re hoping/suspecting/thinking, it’s not totally uncalled for.

Oh, believe me. I have plenty of salt in reserve for Eklund.

I lost interest

Dont boo your team!
I wonder if Eklund is the alter ego of several HockeyBuzz staff doing cocaine in the break room. Because, he’s “anonymous” so what “sources” would he have? His “sources” would know who he is.

I think his “sources” are the trades he can make work on NHL 10.

It’s cool, at least its a compliment he’s good of sorts. But I don’t trust Eklund. We’ll see.

Don't worry.
You’ve got better odds of picking names out of a hat for a trade than eklund does with his sources.

hehe I don't know about that anymore
we were all VERY wrong as of late so who knows Eklund’s target skills this week might be on point. But then the world would end so it wouldn’t matter right?

Considering it’s Eklund, the trade most likely involves the Mighty Ducks, the Hawks, and Adam Banks.

Considering this shit is from Eklund, I think it’s a greater possibility that DW actually has a 3-way this week.

“Quality forward with size”? Size? And we’re talking about the Canadiens. Nope… Eklund still fabricating.
And hell “quality forward with size” may even mean Jamal Mayers.
And why would the Habs trade away Price? And why now? That would’ve seemed like a better move much earlier this post-season.
