Originally signed by the Sharks as a free agent on Mar. 28, 2008, Jones has skated in 102 career games as a professional in the ECHL with Kalamazoo and Phoenix and in the AHL with Worcester, scoring 44 points (24g-20a) and collecting 59 penalty minutes.... Jones joins the Thunder as the second player to have previously played in the Sharks organization under an NHL contract, joining center and captain Craig Valette.
